The Tide of Loneliness
The Unspoken Burden
Saving face in front of others is usually what much of society prefers. Transparency isn't normal around the general public, but there are some who are very transparent. Few people know what it is to be conscious of what's bothering them, and being vulnerable has been found to be a key in one's healing. The concern is, who should you be vulnerable with? It isn't like every day, someone who you trust just walks into you by accident, and magic is found in that instant.

Being vulnerable in front of most people can backfire!
Human beings seem to be programmed very intricately by societal norms. That being said, you'll rarely find folk wanting to tell people about their issues. Many will take information you give them, and use that info to hold it over your head...as long as humanly possible. Before you know it, you'll be in front of your coworkers shoe less; standing on one leg, singing nursery rhymes, and wishing you didn't share such sensitive information.
Do you wonder why so many people like to be alone? The people who choose the life of a loner, truly comprehend the full extent of keeping their self preservation in tact. Nothing is by chance; their peace of mind is just as important as their physical health. That being the case, it can get a little bit...

The Unspoken Burden (Cont'd)
I remember what it felt like to write stories about not-present, similar minded people. I'd dream of friends who wanted to hang every day, build a business together, and just ride out 'til the wheels fall off. I was blessed to later find great friends, though our dreams differ (and that's ok). I've also had friends who proved to be acquaintances only, and were meant to be there only (that's also ok). I'll also tell you this...the matters of the heart are always dire! The most challenging bonds that I've ever written about, which were most desired and hard to come by, are the romantic ones.
For the lonely romantic, who wishes to flood their personal space with the kisses from the lips of a man (or woman), know that I hear you! I have a journal I've written in, that has seen me depressed, sad, angry, in tears, fed up, etc. This age truly is challenging in every way, when even thinking about romantic bonds being created. Please...don't give up hope. I'm living it now...I almost gave up myself.
Just be a bit more patient!!
The lonely hearts are going through much at this time, and I can imagine. I sympathize completely! You've got to hold on to the fire that invigorates your dreams; remind yourself of the beauty you can see in the future. Keep the imagination flowing, and DON'T lose hope. When my Queen and I met, she had already given up hope for love...
but I didn't!
The projected amount of loneliness in the human heart is massive; it is unfair for the human race to be experiencing this turmoil. Be open to possibility. There is nothing good that can happen for you, once you lose hope, and quit being optimistic.
