Perception's Promises
What does one's perception of them give as a promise? Perception isn't a tangible thing or being, so realistically it cannot promise anything to you. Yet, being that its an understood ideal, one can be confident that it remains true to nature without wavering. However you see or perceive your worth, your value, and your identity will become reality. That is the promise! The look you give in the mirror that says, "I am a dope individual, and a worthy being of great abundance" will carry your destiny forward.
When I used to be outside without human paranoia at an all-time high, (thanks so much COVID-19) I rarely dressed simple and casual in many spaces. I loved putting on formal & semi-formal attire. I always felt confident in my style, and moved as if I am royalty (because I am...as are you). The way you see yourself carries more depth than you could ever know. It helps maintain your motivation, and pushes you beyond the resistance that you will certainly feel within yourself. Resistance tends to sound like, "no one is gonna like this idea," or "what if I mess it up? I might as well not even start." Battling pass those heart-attacking phrases and statements isn't always simple, but the way you perceive yourself can truly be a deterrent to them.
Look in the mirror, even the camera in "selfie mode" on your phone. Who (or what) do you see?
Gotta Love Those Outside Influences!
If social media has proven anything, it is this...too many people care about clout!! The interactive online society has displayed a lack of concern for other people's emotional, mental, and spiritual wellbeing. Yet, too many people still seem to want the approval of the masses. The hatred people have for themselves is high enough, but when they unleash their insecurities on you, they amplify the wickedness and lack of respect in their statements. Do not allow anyone to influence you, who doesn't respect you or speak to you with positive intent and speech.
There's enough madness online...don't let anyone degrade who you are! You are needed as the worthy being you always present to others!!
