Image of Me

Tribute to Breonna Taylor

When I look in the mirror

I see heaven I see ease

When I think of myself

I imagine earth

I am a queen

I see brown skin, golden

I am pleasantly appeased

I see beauty, nature, melanin, and strength

I see worth, I see value, I see gold, I see me

I see glamour, I see wisdom, I see talent, I am free

I see fortune, I see wealth

I see visions not a dream

I hear god, I fear god

I am disciple on a team

I make light, I make life

I am the beginning of all things

I am love, I am joy

I am a siren when I sing

I am a creator, the creative, a designer

I have that thing

I am the sunshine

when the sun rise

I am glory, let that seep

I am patience

I am guidance

I am a survivor

A super being

I am magic

I am hope

When I’m broken

God heals me
